I’m a sucker for red, white & blue, anything somewhat patriotic, and because my favorite holiday happens to be the 4th of July when I saw this adorable dress last season I knew that I needed it! Now some people are taking the “not so literal or obvious approach” to 4th of July outfits. But I say why not? It’s the day your outfit can be a little cutsey have fun with it, make it “you” and show your patriotism through your outfit!
I have been interviewing a lot recently for jobs and I have been trying to mix up my career outfit options. I am combining my tops and accessories with office basics. I try to keep it colorful and unique since the field I am in is more creative. I thought I would share one of my interview outfits with you all and I will be sure to post more soon!

I recently received an email about a new website called Storemate. I have been discovering what it is all about and I have found that it is similar to Pinterest, but for shoppers, bloggers and stylists. The website is still in beta so there are things that are changing and developing. So far I am liking what I am seeing, you can curate your own stores from things you find online, on blogs, or on Pinterest. It is a great way to build a new following, you can even store your outfit posts so people can shop your look from your blog. There are so many possibilities for exposure and not to mention it is fun! To see how it works you can check out my store front here, and see my collection for spring. Try it out for yourself at Storemate.com and to see more about how it works check out the video I posted below.
I love GILES & BROTHER jewelry not only because it is my last name, but because of the classic, fresh, yet simplistic design of their pieces. The only thing stopping me from buying all of the GILES & BROTHER accessories is the price point, which is out of my budget with prices ranging from $50 – $300. Needless to say when I heard about the JewelMint collaboration with GILES & BROTHER I was ecstatic. The same style accessories but at the JewelMint price point ($29.99!!), it can’t get much better than that! Below are some of my favorite pieces from the collaboration, hurry before they are gone!
Paris fashion week is my favorite fashion week by far. Mostly because I have a love affair with Paris but also because some of the greatest fashion houses in the world are in Paris, including the one and only Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld has been the designer of Chanel since before I was born, but if there is one thing that I love most about his design, it is his attention to detail. The recent collection for Fall 2013 RTW was a great example of his attention to details through the perfectly curated textiles, jewelry and accessories. When I saw the boots draped with chains, globe shaped bags and the fingerless spiked gloves I became giddy! Karl is a genius, with that said here are some of my favorite detail shots from this past week in Paris, hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Continue reading
I loved so many looks from the Oscars this year. These leading ladies stood out in body hugging silhouettes and sparkles. One of my favorite aspects of fashion is the details. Bag, shoes, fabrics and jewelry are what make an outfit unique and stand out. Looking through Fashion Week Street Style images I found the detail images to be the most intriguing, here are some of my favorites.

I know to some this is old news, but I recently found out about Kate Spade‘s new line called ” Saturday” and needless to say I am BEYOND excited. The new line launches in March and the collection includes bags, dresses, accessories and more. The best part about this line is everything is at a lower price point!
