Paris fashion week is my favorite fashion week by far. Mostly because I have a love affair with Paris but also because some of the greatest fashion houses in the world are in Paris, including the one and only Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld has been the designer of Chanel since before I was born, but if there is one thing that I love most about his design, it is his attention to detail. The recent collection for Fall 2013 RTW was a great example of his attention to details through the perfectly curated textiles, jewelry and accessories. When I saw the boots draped with chains, globe shaped bags and the fingerless spiked gloves I became giddy! Karl is a genius, with that said here are some of my favorite detail shots from this past week in Paris, hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Continue reading
One of my favorite aspects of fashion is the details. Bag, shoes, fabrics and jewelry are what make an outfit unique and stand out. Looking through Fashion Week Street Style images I found the detail images to be the most intriguing, here are some of my favorites.

New York Fashion Week comes to a close tomorrow and the best part is to see a round-up of all the best street style looks. Here are three of my favorite looks I have seen and of course I had to make a post on how to get these looks at a reasonable price! Below you will find three sets that mimic these street looks for a low to middle price point. If anything, I hope this is inspiration for how to get outfit ideas from everything around you!
Only three more days left of fashion week and there have been some great looks on the runway so far! Below are some of my favorite looks, needless to say I am really excited for these trends to hit the stores. Some of the trends I am noticing; jewel tones, leopard prints, colored fur, velvet, bold patterns and tasteful peek-a-boo dresses. Continue reading
I had so much fun at Coachella second weekend and it has taken me a while to post this but while I was at Coachella I covered a few street style looks for my internship with SnobSwap (post here). It was so hot the second weekend at Coachella people wore hardly anything but here are a few of the outfits I saw.

I had a request from a dear friend of mine Kyla, she asked if I would a post about what to wear to an interview. She wanted a professional yet still fashionable outfit. This is hard because it depends on several factors: what the job is, where you are, and the company. These pieces I put together are what I think are essentials for a work wardrobe. I think it is important to have color and pattern in your work attire so that it’s not the same black, grey and brown you normally see in the work place. You can add color by your shoe or a skirt or even with a lip color. Essentials to have are a watch, a cute work/laptop bag, and a good blazer. Below are some inspiration outfits! Continue reading
Im sure most of you have seen the Gap “Be Bright” campaign. When I saw it I thought “oh thats cute and fun for spring but not so original”. Until today I saw one of my favorite magazines, Rue Magazine styled something for Gap and I HAD to see because I knew it would be great! I came to find that many of my favorite fashion websites and blogs styled a series for Gap called “Styld.by”. I was in love, even the title is clever! Such a great idea to appeal to an audience who is following style blogs for fashion inspiration. They are appealing to the new social media craze by making it easy to share the campaign on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. Two thumbs up Gap you hit the nail on the head with this one. I think I will now need to visit Gap tomorrow! Check out all of the Styld.by looks here.

The definition of habiliment is simple, it means clothing. Now this blog is clearly not just about clothes. Rest assured there will be many clothing and fashion related posts. One thing I have always believed in is living your life to the fullest and being happy with who you are. This blog is a collection of things I do, places I visit and tips for things you may want to try! Hope you enjoy !
